According to "Carter Godwin Woodson" the great historian and Father of Black History who not only witnessed the Mis- Education of African Americans, he also participated in it as a student and teacher. He ultimately committed to himself to making available the historical materials that told the "truth" about the African and African American past for those engaged in the activity.
However, by the end of the decade in the 20th century, he was able to observe changes in the relationship of the educated elites and the black mases. He observed that those who had obtained their education became more individualistic and self-centered and less concerned about sharing the benefits of their education/fortune with those who were in need of their assistance.
The aim of this website is to present the study of African Americans and how we missed the mark; how we have arrived at the present state of affairs: We will point out the defects as they appear today and how they will not benefit anyone in the future if there are no changes made.
